A Walk in Their Shoes

The halfway mark between the large urban cities Austin and San Antonio, Texas State is a convenient home for thousands of commuter students, 17, 000 to be exact, a little more than half of the student population. They come by car and bus to campus, many leaving their homes in the early morning to fight traffic and parking. They can be found in nearly every class, but their stories often go untold. That is until now.

The commuter lifestyle is discussed little in comparison to the number of students who travel from neighboring cities in pursuit of a degree. Here is a walk in their shoes.
