I am from Katy, Texas and the black sheep in a family of left brainers by studying mass communication.
This is my place to let people know what is going on with me and my goals and accomplishment
I don't consider myself a genuine Texan. My family moved to Katy when I was 8 from Oklahoma and before then we were in Mississippi. However, I do call the Katy suburbs home.
I'm 21 years old and the oldest of four kids, and I would do anything for my family.
I'm pretty easy going and enjoy the outdoors, yet I'm still a city girl at heart. I like to spend summers behind a boat kneeboarding and tubing (and wake boarding if I get the chance again). Other hobbies include road trips, reading, shopping, going to the movies, spending time with my family, boyfriend and friends. I tend to split my time between San Marcos and College Station when I'm not in the newsroom.
Life has thrown me some curve balls, but they've made me stronger.
